Recently enrolled in Smith and Solomon CDL Training school. Just passed my cdl a permit and air brake permit test. Was wondering; what carriers will hire a student right out of school? Please list all companies and give some detail, weather they are a good or a bad company. THANKS guys!!!

Melton and Howard are both flatbed companies. Be sure you wanna deal with handling tarps, chains and straps. Good companies. TransAm is another really good company to start with as long as you go company driver to start out with. All automatics, APUs, refrigerators. Trucks are specked to the nines.

Best advice given to me was wait Atleast 1 year before going into a lease. I'm not against a good lease just give yourself time, you'll be amazed at all you will learn in your first year..
