I am tired of working for bad truck companies.Need some support from old drivers with experience. Arnold Transport was the best company that I worked for out of my whole 35 months of driving. If anyone know about any good carriers please let me know. Any small carriers with a decent CSA rating and ok dispatchers.. I live in Georgia. I do not have a perfect working record but I do have a clean MVR.I have worked for 6 carriers in the past 3 years. I have a few incidents. No major accidents on my record and I have no felony charges. No health issues. Some carriers are turning down my application all because I have worked for 6 trucking companies in the past 3 years. I am not giving up. I am looking for new work and I will do state to state. Just not looking to run all 48 states. tired of working for crazy truck companies and companies with high turnover rates.I can start on any weekday..If you can help me find a good company let me know.

Might help if you post your location.. Better yet put it in your profile.
Guess you did say Georgia. But that's a big state. :biggrin_25522:

    Also you wanting Dry Van/Reefer/Flat/Tankers?
    6 companies in 3 years, I wouldn't hire you either. :biggrin_25510:.

that's the issue. I understand that you need to make money and if your not making it you need to find a place where you can make money..but when you job hop that much allot of companies will not want to invest in hiring you..what makes them think you will stick around? every company will go thru slow times..its the nature of the business but if you plan for that and look at the whole picture you can make decent money and stay with a company..and reap the rewards of staying with a company.

Having 6 jobs in 3 years will hurt you, most descent carrier will frown on this, shows a flighty driver, best option I can give you is? If your still with one now, stay there at least 1 year, but with the 6 in 3years you may need more time, to show your a stable person, good luck

'I do not have a perfect working record '
What do you mean by this?
    To many missed days?
    to many missed appointments?
not getting along with co workers?
    not getting along with customers?

Define "a few incidents" please. It may affect your choices.

Robert Bearden Inc. Cairo, GA. Dry van. They operate mainly in the southeast. A friend of mine works for them. He is satisfied. They pay $.36/mile I think.
