Surely you found something positive or you wouldn't have stayed so long.

That could be possible. As a last resort, they will offer a driver a spot in TL as a last resort if his position goes away.

you are right it was not all bad but i am the type that does not job hop.. but when i
started averitt was a fine company but now they are like most other companies. they
just dont care about there drivers. with thAT SAID I STRONGELY STAND BEHIND WHAT I SAID IF THEY WERE SO GOOD THEY WOULDN'T BE BEGGING FOR DRIVERS ON
A DAILY BASES... AFTERALL ALL TRUCKLOAD COMPANIES ARE AWEFUL TO WORK FOR
BESIDES WALMART AND MAYBE A FEW OTHERS..ANYBODY WHO HAS BEEN DRIVING
FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME WOULD AGREE.. IF YOU DISAGREE YOU JUST DONT KNOW
ANY BETTER... TAKE MY ADVICE GET INTO A GOOD LTL JOB. THESE ARE THE ONLY
ONES THAT REALLY TREAT THERE DRIVERS LIKE HUMANS AND NOT LIKE ANIMALS.

you lijke crap. take my advice i worked there for 13 years. most of the
drivers average around 1800 miles a week..beware of orientation be sure
and wear some deep shoes bacause they will blow smoke for three straight days like i said before any company that recruites drivers is not
a good company. if you notice the good companies never loose drivers.
I dont get it, It took you 13 years to figure out you didnt like Averitt, and after 13 years you just decided to quit.
I dont think we are hearing the hole story here, I have been in this industry for 35 years and I have heard it all, and that just sounds weird.

I drove for Averitt for 10 months. They are surly not the worst company out there However you will not get the miles they claim you will get.I no longer work for them.
