I sent an application to Shneider, did I do the right thing? Says it a local night job, home every day. Says I can make up to $70,000. What do you guys think? Let me know your experiences with other companies. Thanks.
Thinking about retiring from Buster Brown. Where should I go next?

If you retire, go home and be with your wife and enjoy life. Go to the retirement breakfasts with the other Teamsters. I don't know if you can collect the pension and still work for the competition. Fed Ex Ground may have some work, nighttime turns.
-
I wish I could stay home, I have a 16 year old starting college in a year and a half. Yes I can collect my pension and work for whom ever I want.
-
I'm wondering why don't you just stay there? How long have you worked at UPS?
-
26 years, I can collect my pension and work wherever I want. I am trying to earn more money closer to home.
-
I'd stay there at UPS for 4 more years. You'll make more with less headaches.

I am starting to see that these company's dont wont to pay and not give you benefits. I went to a tanker company, delivering gas. They dont pay overtime, the whole day was straight time. Plus they wanted me to pay my own benefits. Now alot of ads I see say the say thing. Its crazy.
