I dont know the full details of why he was shorted, although I bet he posted about it on here however as he wrote about his experiences.

The company DID have a guarantee of a min of 500/wk. However they took that away without warning and no longer gave it to anyone, even if they had it in writing that they were guaranteed it.

Im not OTR so dont' know what stuff and deductions regular OTR drivers have to go through on their paychecks. I know with many ./ most companies...you have to have the bill of lading or whatever sent to the company by a certain time to get paid that week, otherwise it will roll to the next week. So one might drive alot of miles, but their check might be small if the trip-pak didn't make it to the office in time to get counted.

    A thought regarding Truckin's 1st paycheck problems...

The way I understand it, all new people are put into payroll system with the per diem option, and at the end of the 2 weeks, they are given a form to opt out of it. For most newbies, they aren't getting paid for those 1st 2 weeks, so the opt out will have kicked in before they get a actual check.

In Truckin's case, didn't he say he was paid for his 1st 2 weeks, since he had a CDL already? In which case, they would have paid those 1st checks under the perdiem system.

    Just a thought.
