Anyone have any experience with Gel, Water filled or foam seat pads/cushions? I have been experiencing occasional bouts of Prostatitis and I believe the pounding from my seat is contributing to this. Any brands or type of seat pad to look at or stay away from?

if anything go with foam...you don't want water/gel, it will rupture, and it will be a mess

These are pretty great. I use one to take pressure off my tailbone. There is no liquid in them, so no worry about ruptures or messes. Miracle Cushion Extreme.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Try one of those gel cushions they advertise in TV. There are no issues with them used one for a year, after a while they mash down some but I weigh 240. Can get them at CVS, Target and K-Mart. Best $20 bucks you can spend.

maybe I might go to cvs and get one of those, I know my tailbone hurts at times normally after 4 hours driving or so then I have to take a break sometimes

Has anyone tried the new Bose truck seat?

I'm very interested in this for whenever I get my own truck. -

looking at the site and watching the videos and stuff I would get that seat if I had my own truck. $6k though for a single system
