Hey guys I'm starting a new job next week and I have a question about the antenna for my satalite radio. On the other trucks I drove I always mounted the antenna on the driverside top mirror bracket and it worked very well. Now i'm going to be driving a T800KW and as most of you probubly know it only has a bracket on the bottom of the mirror. I'm worried that if i put it down that low there may be a lot of interferance from the cab. So in a very long round about way my question is were do you guys have the antenna mounted? Thanks for the help. Really appreciate it.

I drove a T6 years ago and I mounted it outside on the visor with double sided sticky foam stuff. I believe that's the technical name for it.
smokestack06 Thanks this. -
I keep mine in the drivers overhead in my FLD. No wires to run out of the cab.

I also have a Sat radio ??? , I now drive a 08 peterbilt 388 model truck, and it has no direct plug for my sat radio tuner. The FM tuner bites, when u try to find a clean fm channel to match ur sat radio with.
Is thier a IN DASH sirius satillite radio i can mount that i dont need a docking tuner with ??? -
About the only thing I know you can do is buy a direct connect and see if the guys at your shop will hook it up for you. You've gotta pull the truck's stereo out and unplug the antenna wire from the back of the radio, plug in the direct connect to the radio then plug the antenna wire into the direct connect. There's another wire that you'll have to run up to your satellite radio receiver.
