So does any have ideas how to mount the flat screen tvs? I'm running freightliner century class truck. I usually just leave it the box and pull it when needed. I have the skyworth 15 flat screen with dvd. Any ideas?

yeah im putting mine in today...i have a volvo...but im using a 24" tv and same thing, just using some wood and sticking the wall mount to that.

I have a Cascadia, virtually same interior as Century.
I have mine mounted on the side wall where the window is.
I put a sheet of plywood on wall using existing window plastic trim holes, had to get longer screws.
Then I got some metal and made a mount to attach tv to wood. -
mines actually attached to the side of the cabinet, on a teliscoping mount so you can get it up against that wall without drilling into it...i didnt know what was under there so i didnt want to go drilling into the side of the truck. i used small peices of 2x6, overkill. i think it would hold a 50 inch if the truck was big enough, thing is solid.

Mine is a 19 inch and I put it right on the wall of my Volvo.

I pulled out the useless closet behind the passenger seat in the Volvo 670 I drive.
Removing the closet exposes four heavy bolts (with nuts) protruding from the wall. I mounted a piece of plywood to the four bolts, and mounted the tv to the plywood. -

I used the tv box in the cascadia. I cut out a base using 5/8s plywood, to fit flat inside of the box. Then I took a 2x4, cut them to size to resemble a stud in the wall, and secured them to the plywood base.(cut small stabilizers to support the stud on either side and behind) then I bought a wall mount bracket, and secured it to the stud. Then placed it in the tv box in the bunk, drilled four holes thru it and secured it to the cabinet, with nuts and bolts. I hung my 19 inch flat screen on it a year ago, and haven't had a problem yet, knock on wood. you may have to make some small modifications as you go along, but for the most part it took about 45mins to an hour and i'm no carpenter. Also I painted it flat black so you couldn't see it once its mounted.
CommDriver Thanks this. -
My husband has a 22 inch flat screen - we bought a telescoping/swivel mount that he attached to the wall in his truck with 4 screws.. it's GREAT! The TV sits flat against the wall when he's not using it - and when he IS using it, he can swing it around to just about any angle he wants. Bought the TV and the mount at Best Buy.
