    Hey Dieselboss,

Talked to your shop a couple of weeks ago about ordering a vu-cube for the tractor I drive (I own two..) Since I don't do I-5 much is there anyplace in the central US where I could have the V-Cube professionally installed that you could recommend?

    Thanks!

Man... I don't know. There on tons of these "Camping World" and RV centers and so forth that sometimes deal with the "RV" version, but if you pull a big-rig in there it usually scares the crap out of them. I know that I have had lots of drivers tell me that "they took it to the company shop" and had their people install them, but that has been "hit and miss" too sometimes in terms of what they thought they knew they were doing.

I don't know of a specific place anywhere actually (central US or otherwise) but there has GOT to be some you'd think. Perhaps someone else here can help us out with that one???

I got one of these from Dieselboss and got the "no-drill" mount and installed it myself in about an hour. Its very straight forward and very secure. Only thing you will need is a ladder, general hand tools and propane torch to heat the adhesive.

most of them will if you DON'T hard mount or drill holes
this is the setup i did on the volvo we had. company was ok with it, i ran the wires in the same hole as the invertor used. wasn't in motion but it only took 5min from when we stoped to have it up and running and 2 min to take down.

nice thing was no one could park and block it, the only thing i had to change was i drilled out the welds on the arm so i could fold the arm

total cost was $110 i had the box and dish left over from when we upgraded the house to HD

As I said, both my husband and I are driving and plan to make the truck as much like home as we can. Watching TV will allow us to decompress and keep contact with the world around us as things seem to be getting crazy everywhere. Thanks for your input and we look forward to sharing our experiences with everyone.
