Councidently, Cabbage was in my route and was a white out. So got on cb shouted out that I needed chains, met him at the TS gave him $50.00 and away I went, paid another guy $40,00 to slap em
on and away I went. ( learned a lot on that mountain) reached the other side ( a lot happened on that mountain, but it'll be in the book,wink wink) and paid $25.00 for another fella to take em off!! Lol
i was HHG driver back them, so was plenty of money to be made back then. Not many start out the way I did, usually the " my daddy story", or " my uncle, or whatever but just not the case for me. So yeah " some" do start right outta the gate as O/Ops... -
