starting off are you better to run the Ram 3500/4500/5500 or a medium duty tuck that has a sleeper like a Terrastar,
Fl70, or a single axle class 8. Want the best bang for the buck without breaking the bank.

if it was me, id do a true MD with a sleeper, bigger brakes, stronger frame, stronger trans, stronger axles, and a driveline made for 100k+ per year

What are you going to haul?

I'd recommend a medium duty truck. You'll appreciate the beefier components and easier access to shops out on the road. I've had good luck with my m2 freightliner. Depending on the weight you plan on hauling, I'd spring for a single axle and get a sleeper bolted on. I expedite out of a straight truck and have one that's an extended cab factory set up as a small sleeper (single bunk in the back instead of the bench seat.). May be a little cozy for some but I'm a minimalist.
