Does anyone know where the idle adjust switch is on an 06 international 9400i. My yellow engine warn light is on and manual that came with truck says all cummins isx have idle adjust switch that you can check blink codes with but I only can see an abs blink code switch which is for air brakes I gather. I have looked everywhere and see no idle switch.
Also is heavy truck anti freeze formulated different from what you get at auto store as auto store stuff specifies for auto and light truck.... The eng warn light came day after I added 2 gal of auto / light truck antifreeze which label said was compatible with all antifreeze. Unlikely this is why light came on but was curious if there is heavy duty antifreeze that should be used.

The idle adjust switch should be your cruise control switches. That's the way it is on petes anyhow.

there are 2 basic types of truck antifreeze, the green, which is closer to the green automotive type, and the red which is extended life. The 2 are NOT intermixable, and using the green will ruin the long life properties of the red. Extended life automotive may also be red or orange, but not quite the same as what is truck extended life. Look for EC-1 CAT approved, no matter what engine you have.

Green truck antifreeze is marked low silicate, not the same as car and light truck antifreeze. Truckstops don't always carry the right green antifreeze
