Check your tandems first! Are they 4" on center holes - OR - 6" on center? 4" = 250lbs p/hole & 6" = 400lbs p/hole
- Your kingpin is 3ft back from the front of the trailer (99.9% of time)
- On a 53' trailer, the furthest back you can slide is 48' (kingpin to center rear axle)
- On a 53' trailer, the furthest forward you can slide is 38' (kingpin to center rear axle) [Most Trailers]**
- There is a distance of 3ft from center of tandems to center of rear axle
