    Automatic transmissions

To my fellow experienced colleagues, which trucking companies use automatic trucks?
I know i sound lame asking this, but i don`t feel like going back to manual shifting. And this also includes in the oil fields nationwide.

    Automatic :

    TransAm
    Maverick
    Nussbaum
    Averitt
Interstate Distributors (drive4us.com) choice of auto or manual

Two companies with oil field trucks: (must call to ask)

    FFE (driveffe.com)
    Schneider

Hopefully some other drivers can contribute more.

Last I heard, most companies are phasing them out. Schneider is one, plus an auto on your driving history doesn't look good. I know it's something most can't forget, but companies think otherwise.

I don't se what the big deal is about someone wanting to driver an automatic truck. Didn't know there was a personal criteria or standard to meet, to be a respected driver.
