Starting this weekend, the Holiday Season will start with people traveling to see their families, just give a little extra room, slow down a little and look further ahead, we don't need to lose anyone this Holiday Season.
Be safe out there drivers.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I'm looking forward to all the trashy drivers clearing out of the truck stops for a few days where I can find a spot late in the evening. I don't mind the car traffic so much but I really enjoy 35% of the trucks being off the road for 3-4 days near Christmas. No clogged fuel lines, no full truck stops, a mini vacation for me ... but then it ends as quickly as it started and all the crap starts up again.

We do not celebrate any holidays anymore. So, it is just another day and the freight still needs moved. This way, those that "need" to be home can.

Starting this weekend, a lot of people will start traveling for the Holidays. A few things to remember. Wear your seatbelts, (Everyone in the vehicle.), Drive the speed limit, (you'll get there.) Look ahead, especially if you're driving in an unfamiliar area. IF you're tired, STOP, a short nap will do wonders. If the weather conditions aren't perfect, slow down or find a safe place to stop, don't ...force it. Keep the windows clear so you can see all around you. Give a little extra space out there, especially around big trucks, those drivers have families too. Don't talk or text while driving. Don't DRINK and Drive... If you see emergency or assistance vehicles on the side of the road, give them room also. Be safe out there everyone. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Todd (Truck Demonstrator at B.R.A.K.E.S.)Badcable, Moosetek13 and Roadmedic Thank this.
