How do you define "home weekly"?

Get home Friday night or Saturday morning...back out Monday morning

 

You are home for a reset and once your reset is done you will back on the road but if you want you can tell them you want to be home for the weekend and head back out on monday morning.

 

Yeah,,Thats fine,But its not enough time off to take care of things around the house........I like a good solid 60-70 hours off straight..Example..Get delivered in the morning on friday..then Done..Until Monday Morning I load up at my customer

 

Only way you are ever going to have quality time off at home is if you own the truck.

 

I'm home almost every night and always on weekends. MOST of what I'm doing can be turned in one day.

Depends on the company, but many will not leave you home more then 34-40 hours.

 

Not true. I'm a company driver and I get home on Friday evening and leave out early Monday. I'm home every holiday. And, if I need to be home during the week for something special, I am. There are good companies out there that respect the fact that their drivers do have a personal life.

 

My bf usually gets home Friday night and leaves out Sun afternoon or evening. He does get home when requested.
