You should have this post under "Experienced Truckers Advice" under the Good and Bad Trucking Companies heading. Do you have DPF, a diesel particulate filter? No DPF. No California. Do you have an owners manual? look at it. It should tell you.

1000 miles per year if you only drive cali. 5000 miles per year if you long haul.
07's are legal for cali. but if they didn't install dpf's till 08. that everyone says. kind of don't make sense. -
I have an 07 freightshaker with no dpf and no piss box (def) ive been there twice this year no problem..i noticed much older trucks operating so I'm also curious when they will start clamping down on this

"(41) Low-use Vehicle means a vehicle that will be operated fewer than 1,000 miles in California in any compliance year. If that vehicle has an engine that powers other equipment that can only be used while stationary, the engine or power take off (PTO) must also operate less than 100 hours in any compliance year."

Engine year is what's important. 2007+: CARB compliant, 1996 to 2006: need retrofit, 94 to 95 only good 'till 12/31/2016 without any mods.
