got hit with a tkt . for basic speed law. they say driving too fast for conditions . involved in a several car trk accident. I did make contact with a trk that stopped in front of me . but the tkt is BS. they always say too fast for conditions. I could use some more experience in the art of getting this dismissed. Thankyou all in advance for your input.

you werent in that huge pileup, on I 94 were you ?

If you weren't going too fast for conditions, then the other truck must have pulled over in front of you just before slowing down. Right?.... no.... Maybe he was in reverse and actually hit you. Right?....no.....
I am outta ideas here, help us out. How were you NOT going too fast for conditions?HalpinUout, Flybynight041, double yellow and 5 others Thank this. -
Any competent traffic lawyer can get it taken care of. Gonna cost.. but thats life.
As far as going too fast for conditions.. well... no matter the conditions... had you been going slow enough you would not have run into the other vehicle. All accidents.. no matter the circumstance.. are avoidable in some way. Considering the weather up there right now I'd drop it down a notch just to be on the safe side.
Hurstallniter and lucky131967 Thank this. -
Rolls Canardly here,
Sorry for your issues. The state cops around Pennsylvania use that as a "pile-on" offense,
when they dislike either your attitude or somthing. Topping off the pile.
Seriously, if you are inching in the parking lot, low gear, and tap somthing on dry pavement,
you are too fast for conditions. Sorry. Good lawyer and big money. (Pay the ticket and move on.)
Just re-read your post and see you did not get it for basic speeding, good for you.
Best of luck and Happy Motoring,
Rolls Canardly

As far as getting out of it, only you can decide if it is worth it or not to spend the bucks on a lawyer who may, or may not, get you out of it. Of course you can always appear in court yourself, provided you are physically able to get there. Tell the judge a good story, and you may get it reduced or kicked out altogether.
Good luck with this.
Oh yeah, if this is your only ticket in 20 years commercial, you are both lucky and good!Giggles the Original, allniter, double yellow and 1 other person Thank this. -
