The OOIDA website has new page for drivers to review the examiner used for their DOT physicals. It is open to anyone to use. Put in a review of your physical for other to be able to read. It's new and there are some but not a lot of reviews at the present time, but it may be a valuable tool in the future for us to be able to avoid the examiners that press for tests not required by the FMCSA. You can also search the medical examiners registry to find a examiner near you. The web address is: http://www.ooida.com/ReviewDoc/.

Sweet, Now you can avoid that 90 year old, old lady that winks at you when she grabs the nuts and tells you to cough!

I reviewed my doctor. Hopefully my review will help prevent future drivers from being forced into an expensive sleep study like I was.
kemosabi49 and ramblingman Thank this. -
Not a great idea, in my opinion. You lucked out and got a doctor that wasn't so thorough or overboard about things (i.e. My second DOT physical)...put it online so that other truckers can go there (and in doing so red flag him/her so they won't be there for long).
This...to me...is along the lines of going on Yelp and other review sites and posting a GREAT review about that hole in the wall restaurant that you like that's easy to get into because no one else (other than townies) know it's there. -

Now since you decided to be an ### and crap on this thread let me break down my frustration over this in a way that relates more to yourself. Imagine if FMCSA decided that being a azzhat would disqualify you from being a driver. In turn the FMCSA puts out a guideline to DoT doctors that at their discretion they could recommend drivers have to complete a azzhat study to decide if they are one or not (A study you'd fail hands down). Now imagine if a doctor believes its not something they can decide at their discretion, but instead thinks its a hard and fast rule that she based purely upon your forum posts and no other evidence. Imagine your frustration over being assumed guilty and having to prove your innocence in order to drive.Dark_Majesty_06, ramblingman and BeanDip Thank this.
