i was kind of just wondering if it is powerful enough to blow out a sprinkler system come winter. they say you need 100psi
how much psi do these truck air compressors have?

Yes. They have 120 ish psi, but it's the volume that could slow you down.

right on. im thinking too far into the future. but this first year for the winter we just got done with was included with the installation. but he wanted $100 in the future. being i got a hose and can hook up right to my glad hand, was thinking it would be easy enough to just do myself and save the 100

You have the pressure; but not near enough volume to blow out an irrigation system. The compressor on my truck is rated @ 18.7 CFM. The compressor I use to blow down my sprinklers is a portable; rated @ 180 CFM.

115 while driving at 1600rpm, 130 at idle
but i am a dumb truck driver, wasnt sure the gauge of how much pressure is in my tanks was the same as what is needed to blow out system. -
well if you just do one zone at a time, and let it build back up before each zone. i hear u though. its already sounding to be more work than its worth for 100 -
I can't believe you just said that. Just pay the irrigation man. -
landscaper says pay me now or pay me later
$100 on 10/15
$500 on 4/16 as the leaks are all visible
from improper line clearingSMTatham Thanks this.
