I saved the number in my cell and the PDF on my desktop.
I do have to go there from time to time and have painted myself into a corner once. -
I use to live outside Chicago and I made a trucker friendly cheat sheet.
It's not that hard to know where they are at with this.
I-94 x41, about 2 miles east (US-14, Peterson Ave)
I-94 x42, two about 3&4 miles east (US-41, Foster Ave)
I-94 x44, one west about 2 miles and two east about 2&3 miles(IL-19, Irving Park Rd)
I-94 x48, one west about 2 miles and two east immediately (IL-64, North Ave)
I-94 x62, about 2 miles east (US12/20, 95th St)
End of I-55, just south on US-41 (Lake Shore Dr)
Note: If delivering off I-90 between x79-83, the one low bridge on IL-19 (Irving Park Rd) which runs parallel (east-west), is two major blocks south of I-90. -
i run around chicago in 2 differant straight trucks an 18ft that is 11'7" and a 26ft that is 12'6" and usally dont have any problems. if i have to take a tractor trailer in the city and im not sure of the route to take, i have used the phone number , and the directions were right on,
sometimes it takes a little time to get through, but they will get you around low bridges and closed ramps with good directions -
you really have to pay attn to where the el-train goes through town on your map 99th at I-57 is a good way to get out when your up in the w.columbus ave area. S western ave is pretty good but there are few tight overpasses keep right going under them you should be ok the pavment is i lil lower on the right side you can take it south to 12 go left over to s.halsted take halsted to 99th you can get on I- 57 there stay away from 79th if you can there is a low one going across there.

Been running Chicago for 37 years, Love it. Masterd It. Blindfolded. LOL
EZ Money Thanks this. -

Probably at any of the truck stops or 'oasis' in the area. I think I picked mine up at a truck stop near Oshkosh Wi actually so you don't even have to be that close to Chicago.
-
Keep a tape measure in your truck. When in doubt measure twice. I ran Chicago for 2 years and honestly the maps are good but I just want to know if I can make it or not.

CRS (can't remember sheet) has set in since then. I would be screwed now...lol!
