How many Million Milers do we have?
So here's a thread for all of us exp. drivers to help give the rookies some incentive. How many million milers are there? Let's not be picky about it, if you've got a million + without a ticket/accident brag about it. But if your like me and have a million+ with a couple of dings, it shouldn't make you any less important or vital to the count, heck if anything it shows your human. Maybe we can someone to make this a sticky as well so we can boast a little. I officially broke 1 Mil. May '07, so I'm now working on my 2nd. Took me 1 month shy of 10yrs and 2 companies. For the record, I have 1 preventable and 2 non-preventable accidents, and several tickets.
Total Miles as of 09/30/09 (Oct. and Nov. logs are still in the truck): 1,236,061 miles
Slowest Month: 1,236
Best Month: 12,919 Aug. '01Last edited by striker; 12.07.2009 at 09.50 PM.

Yes I have a million safe. No accidents but I have my share of speeding tickets to show for it. Only 1 current ticket on my record now but that just goes with the territory.

1 million here,no tickets ever [ hope I didn't jinx myself ] never caused an accident, but had people hit me a couple of times, you think they could have seen the big truck.
My brother is an O/O,has an 97 Western Star with 1.75 Million on it.It's his 3rd truck...............no B.S.

I dunno how many miles I have. But they have dropped over the last few years, by choice.
The last period I actually kept track, was a 33 month period with CFI. I got 342K during that time.
I've been driving since 1985, my last ticket was in 1990. My last accident of any kind was in 1989....knock wood.
Too bad none of that means squat when I buy auto insurance.

About 1.8 mil. I haven't driven full time in all these years. I have taken time off to do other things. This year I went back OTR for a little over 7 months when my business was very slow. Now I am back to working for myself and home every night, and only work a few days a week, but making about the same.
The last ticket in a truck was in March 1981. I had a minor jack knife in Jan 1977 during a fast moving blizzard. I left Wilkes-Barre with cloudy skies and snow forcast. Next thing I knew is was snowing sideways, and the roads were closing. Back then there were no trucks stops, and I was trying to get to Harrisburg to shut it down. One mile from my exit the wind picked up my empty truck and turned it around. Thankfully I was able to back out and drive the truck home. Next morning about 200 trucks were in the median or off the road. I haven't seen that many trucks wercked in that short amount of distance since.

I've got pretty close to 1 mil if not right at.
Not accident or ticket free.
I haven't drove since April 09. Don't miss it at all.
