My husband is a driver apprentice who was recently put through the ddc program. I was just curious whether he has to stay at the terminal he currently works for or is he free to transfer? Does he have to stay because this terminal paid for his training?

I'd assume as soon as he's full time like everyone else he can put in for a transfer. Assuming the terminal he wants to transfer to has an opening.

You have to be here at fedex freight a year full time before you can transfer. I think they do how ever make exceptions. But he needs to ask he gm.

He has to be one year in his current position, in this case, once he gets a city driver position, before he can transfer, but there are always exceptions, if he is the only one who applies or has good references he will get it, he doesn't have to stay in that terminal, but pretty much is a case to case scenario.

ok I work in Colorado and in the last few months 3 drivers left and went to fed-ex I'm thinking they will be sorry they did when the holidays are over. Just wondering if any drivers agree or disagree. Just like mail Contractors they wont need as many after Holidays. Thanks
