Difference between Fedex freight and national I know Fedfreight was Viking freight at one time because I used to drive for Viking Freight and now watkins is Fedexnational. What is the difference? They both are hiring in my area. Also difference is how fast their trucks go and what kind of truck you drive. LTL(Watkins) did not change the speed on their trucks to go as fast a the other FedEx. I asked about this once when I was dropping my company trailer there and they said it had been decided when they merged to leave LTL as it was.
