I could make a descent buck if I started doing "tarp" loads. I have to pass on a lot of 6-7' tall tarp loads. They usually pay an extra $100-$200 tarp fee and the rates aren't bad. I could still haul the Humvee's inside too, and makes steel a breeze. Just not sure what route I'm going to take yet.

Like I said tho, it all depends on what I can do with this stepdeck. I've decided to get some 8' drops and actually run the trailer to it's full potential for a few months before i just write it off completely..... we shall see. -
Also go with interior ratcheting if they offer it. As for hangers and racks, start looking now at other peoples. I didn't have any put in mine due to the extra costs. Plus I wanted mine set up differently, it still isn't done yet.

With all the new Cali laws in no covered wagon may be allowed in now.

Hey why you draggin around big tarps? get some 4 ft drops with 2 ft curtains, easy on the back. -
All of our new conestogas are quickdraw's with the front doors, nice storage racks on the inside but only 8 lights down each side...I can't wait to get my hands on one of those!
We have 5 more coming in now. and as far as road drivers go I'm like 7th on the list I believe -
Mine is pretty standard .... I have two "closets" to hold lumber I can get 4 in each one of those...a shelf that I just put totes on for my edge protection and racks on both sides....front door is a must ... And I have the inside latches
running with LS you get the "tarp fee" but spot market its a negative... But since all I do now is mainly coils it is the best thing since sliced bread saves a bunch of time -
cali is not gonna allow curtain vans or conestogas? how come? i would give my left you know what to haul a conestoga and not have to tarp anymore
MackDaddyMark Thanks this.
