Good afternoon every. I have a customer that wants me to haul a flat bed for him by the hour. What would be a decent rate to charge him? One load can take up to 10 hours to deliver and unload. I've never done this type of work, going to put a driver with experience to do this.

Give me miles and weight of the load

150 sounds about right but I would want some kind of commitment as to a min $ amount should the truck not be needed a full day if that customer wants your truck reserved.
realsupatrucka Thanks this. -
Oh yea definitely would have to hace a 10 hour minimum committed contact

It's my truck my fuel. It's an on and off thing may 2-3 loads a month. I was thinking of charging him 6 hours minimum if he doesn't use the truck the day he scheduled it for. Does that sound fair??
