Just found this video/product on YouTube.
It looks a little too easy.
Anybody try or seen this?
Looks gimmicky but if it does what it claims it could save me a lot of time as I often have cargo that uses a lot of straps.

Why not just use a strap winder seems easier then pullling that. It seems like it would break alot from pulling it all the time. When the winder is pretty simple to use and I think its faster.
281ric Thanks this. -
Put your straps in your tool box!!!!
KF7WTV, Blind Driver, skellr and 16 others Thank this. -
Too much snow and mud to leave them on the winches. Besides sometimes I need a longer strap. You are a flatbedder, not a door slammer. Like cluck said put them in your box.
You will spend more time trying to figure out why they do not work than just rolling your straps.MJ1657, SHC, Battle Born and 2 others Thank this. -
I can roll my straps up by hand as fast as anybody ever gets the load off the deck. If you use a strap winder you either drag the straps through the mud to get them to the winder or waste time moving the winder. More technology that doesn't really make my life any easier.

If you really want to leave them on your winch just use a peice of threaded rod 3 bends and you have a speed winder but yeah put em in your toy box if you dont need em in the next few hours

someone else talked about that idea couple years back.
there's a lot of flatbedders that leave their straps winched up.
leaving them on the winch. isn't going to be that much snow. certainly not compared to pulling a load through the snow. -
Unless you're running local stuff taking your straps on and off several times a day leaving them in the winches is dumb.

If you're leaving your straps on the winches, are you not having to throw the hook end of the stap over the load?
I get alot of customers that will ban you for doing this as it can damage the freight or someone on the other side.
I think it's more professional to put the straps in a side box. And not throw the metal hook over a load.Cluck Cluck, Battle Born, Boardhauler and 6 others Thank this. -
I think you will end up getting water in the easybeltroller, and then rolling the straps the old fashioned way when it is frozen up. I think that is an overly complicated fix for a simple problem. Just my 2 cents.
