If I get a single trip permit for Georgia for an over width load do I need to have a hard copy of the permit? If I have it emailed to me can I just show an officer the email or do I have to actually have a copy of the permit?

Hardcopy and make sure you sign it, make sure you have your Amber Light permit stuck to the lower left corner of your windshield as well.
And, if your going North on 95, the scales are very much over achievers and will check everything.
As far as I know Arkansas is the only state allowing electronic copy of permits and they must be displayed on a device with a minimum 7" screen.281ric and crackinwise Thank this. -
Is the Amber Light Permit the same as the OD permit or is that something in addition to the permit paper.
If you are talking about the last scale leaving Florida I agree about them being over achievers. Last pass through there were 7 FHP vehicles waiting for trucks -
That's completely different, it's an annual sticker you have to purchase and display to run the amber warning lights required by your permit.
crackinwise Thanks this. -

I believe
you can have a copy of the check and app permit if you don't actually have the sticker and are waiting for it as proof of application. -

baha Thanks this.

No Ga. dropped the blue ink rule. My last Ga. permit a month ago did not have that in the section just by the sig. line.
Yes a copy of the Ga. amber light app. and copy of check will work for not having the sticker.
Plus it will save you escort issues. With amber light you can go little bigger before needing pilot car or cars. -
