take a look at the date of Manufacture. It's likely a late model 03 and likely has an 04 engine in it.
There's exceptions to every rule, but those are the general years.

News for you, the 2007 EPA Detroit Series 60 engines, usually seen in 2008 and new trucks are quite reliable. My dad ran one in 2008 Cascadia. It got good fuel mileage, 6.5-7 MPG on average set at 515 HP, 13 speed trans and I believe 3.42 rears pulling 53' reefers OTR. The injection system is different in them than past years. Sure, you will have to replace an occasional sensor in the DPF system, but nothing major. He got about 400k miles before the lease ended. The 14.0 ltr PRE-DPF motors with EGR are not bad either. Get it tuned, you will be a happy camper as others have noted. The truck was governed at 75 MPH and the faster you drove, the better MPG's you got.

I dont drive very fast regardless of my MPG's but I read somewhere else about getting it tuned will help very much. Ive never had any truck "tuned". Before I trade, I would like to have my volvo tuned to see if that will improve this truck any before trading to a freightliner.
