Has anyone ever dealt with a low voltage active fault in a freightliner century>? any advice would greatly be appreciated

look at the wiring around your batteries. make sure none are corroded.
i drove a 95 kw that killed the truck for lov voltage to ecm code.
09 pete had the same problem. but didn't kill the truck. -
Last time I had that, the alternator was going up, and finally did had to be towed for new one.

Ive replaced the alternator and have ran all new and bigger ground wires to the frame. Its hard to start and keeps blowing the fuse in the battery box.

it also has a brand new starter. im about ready for a match in the fuel tank.

IM HAVIN SORT OF THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE INSTALLED NEW STARTER AND BATTERIES MY FREIGHTLINER COLUMBIA WILL NOT START OR TURN OVER I CHECKED ALL THE WIRES DIDNT SEE NO PROBLEMS IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR TWO WEEKS IN VERY COLD WEATHER SINCE I LAST DROVE IT ITS A AUTOMATIC TRUCK TOO I JUST HOPE THAT THE TRANSMISSION ISNT LOCKED UP WHEN I TURN THE KEY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THEN THE ENGINE PROTECTION LIGHT COMES ON I TRIED TO OVER RIDE IT WITH THE SHUT DOWN OVER RIDE BUTTON IT STILL WILL NOT START I EVEN TRIED TO MANUALLY START IT BY CROSSING THE COIL STILL NOTHING WHEN I TURN THE KEY OFF I HEAR THE TRANSMISSION CYCLING AND THE STARTER MAKES A NOISE TOO I NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE I GOT IT HOOKED UP TO A EXTENSION CORD TO HEAT THE BLOCK HAS ANYBODY EVER HAD THIS PROBLEM OR CAN POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. I TOOK A TEST LIGHT AND IM GETTING FIRE TO THE COIL ON THE FIRE WALL AND FIRE TO THE COIL ON TOP OF THE STARTER PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME I KNOW ITS NOT THE ECM CAUSE IT POWERING UP AND IT GIVES ME CODES ECU 128,130,140 AND SOMETHING ABOUT PLD 168. AND THE DIAL THAT TELLS ME What gear im in it gave me numbers 17 AND 35 CAN ANYBODY HELP ME. THE BATTERIES ARE NOT BRAND NEW THEY ARE 3 YEARS OLD I GOT THEM HOOKED UP TO A BATTERY CHARGER RIGHT NOW.

Try replacing the ingintion swith, & get a schematic & trace the wires down to each componant and (OHM) test it, also test the fuse's, (both sides).
