Somebody gave me a 2003 Columbia. Needs quite a lot of work done to it. Lots of parts need to be replaced, including hood, headlights and front bumper.
Plan is to move front axle forward, and convert to Coronado hood and bumper.
I like the old style (2007) hood with the round headlights better than the new model.
I know the newer Coronado's come in 122 and 132 BBC, but I don't know if the older were produced with 122 BBC. If the old one was only 132 BBC, I will have t use the new hood.
Does anybody know the BBC dimension for the old style Coronado, or have access to this kind of information? Did it come as a 122 and 132 like the new model?
Thanks

You could call this company and get the answers you need. http://www.fleettruckparts.com/Truck-Hoods/Freightliner-Coronado-Hoods

One way to look at is getting a new Coronado glider truck and putting the guts from the Columbia in it. Why try to reinvent the wheel, as it were. The Coronado gliders are the original Coronado style and not the new style.

Thanks guys.
I contacted Titan hoods, they produce aftermarket hoods for Columbia and Coronado. Coronado hood (original style) is only available in one length, 71". Columbia is 56.5". Too much of a difference. Back to the drawing board.
Glider is not an option. Too much money involved for the purpose of the truck. -
That's got to be a booming business! -
You should be able to convert a Columbia to a Century however. But it's more than just a hood and bumper.
