Try Russ Fisher Used truck part salvage yard in Terre Haute, IN off of I70, Exit 11 right behind Pilot truck stop but across the street. If he don't have it I can't suggest anyone else. They get wrecked trucks, junked tricks of all kinds in there ggle them.

I third the vote for a salvage yard. You may even find premium seats for an affordable price. You could try these, I have personally dealt with Holst, and they have been fair: Rocky Mountain Truck Parts: 877.392.1060, and Holst Truck Parts 800.769.5688. Holst has some nice seats from $99 - $449. Considering nice leather ones retail from about $900+ that's a good savings.

One of our drivers has blown out the foam cushion twice, and then it hurts his back, that is how I happen to have seen the box the new piece of foam had in it was marked National, there is no marking on the seat anywhere I have seen. I helped the shop mechanic pull the cover off the old piece and pull it back onto the new one. I know the driver, and I can't figure out how he managed to tear 2 of them.
The seat is too roomy, and it's painful to drive for 11 hours straight or even with a few short breaks. I run to Milwaukee and maybe Chicago pretty easily, but going for Toledo or Cleveland is a bit too much to do comfortably in that seat, the older trucks with the National brand seats were better for me.
I'm thinking of finding a Flexsteel seat, have had good luck with those, but apparently they are only available to RV dealers, that seat is more of a fit for me.
I sat on that Sears seat in the new truck, I would like to have one if available, but it isn't happening unless I buy one.
Putting more pads on a poor seat hasn't worked very well for me.
As for buying a part for a seat at a wrecking yard, I doubt they will want to part out a complete seat, the piece of foam and the cover shouldn't be that bad from the dealer. -

Keep in mind it needs to look EXACTLY like what you had when you took the truck out. A different color or style, and odds are you will be charged for an entirely new seat when you turn the truck in.

Bayle Thanks this.

im talking about the seat, even if the seat is an aftermarket seat, maybe even a way better seat, they are gonna charge you for the original. makes no sense. I agree with what you said though. clean is good. and 200 is the standard cleaning charge from what the detail shop tells me. they charged my buddy 300 when he turned his in. 200 for the cleaning, which was crazy since he was military ocd with that truck, and 10 bucks a hole for the holes he drilled in the cabinets to install a running bored across that he mounted his tv on.

Everybody gets the.cleaning charge... gets rid of the cooties. You wouldn't want to move Into an apartment that hadn't been cleaned would you?
