Even if someone told you what they mean you have no means of fixing the problem yourself get to a shop asap before the engine dirates. Try shutting down the power switch off for 5 mins then on again see if that clears the computer.

if your not here to help then dont reply you have no clue what i can or cant due knowing the issue would determine if i can or cant fix it
mhyn, driverdriver and Klingon Thank this. -
The 49-523521-31 is a code for an extra subbus switch seen by the MSF- need to go to the dealer to get servicelink to determine which sub bus switch is being seen as extra..
The 3696/13 is the regen switch not being seen on the databus- the code is most likely in conjunction with the 49 code
The 973/13 code is a missing engine retarder switch- also mostly having to do with the MSF code.
Looks like you got something funky going on with the freightliner side.. on the databus.. would recommend going to a dealer when you have a chance.. nothing urgentNCTru919 and driverdriver Thank this. -
hi. try to change switch. and all switches are digital, they use k-line bus (iso 9141) to communicate with MSF (switch panel), MSF transmits all switch data with CAN to other units.

I have fixed many an electrical problem on our Cascadia's by unhooking the batteries for 30 mins to an hour and then hooking them back up.

ECU 0 code in freightliner cascadia 2012
If Check engine light and red stop light flashing
Then check coolant and engine oil level
Same thing happened to my cascadia 2012...engine was shutting off after the check engine and red engine light flashing..then I found out the coolant level was at lower mark
Sometimes sensors in coolant tank doesn't read the lower mark level
If coolant or engine oil level is good then you need to check with mechanic
