    Hello,

Can anyone help me out with a Freightliner electronic parts catalog for all f/liner trucks ? Usually these show schematics/diagrams and parts etc.

I'm really in need of this. If anyone can help me out.

www.accessfreightliner.com I don't think you'll get access to all trucks unless you pay for it. I have access, but only for VIN #'s that we own.

I don't think they have a manual for all freightliner trucks. I have asked Freightliner how to access electronic parts catalog and they haven't really provided with a legit answer yet, however, you can order a parts catalog through your local Freightliner dealer. Also service manuals are available through your local Freightliner dealer as well. Get your engine service manual from an Engine dealer (such as Detroit or CAT).

Got to the link I posted and register, it takes a few days for them to process it.

Ok, I registered at that site.

So they allow you to view only the vin#'s that you have ?

As long as nothing changed recently, they should give you full parts access to your VIN. You have to be the owner of the truck, which they will verify. Hopefully they still allow access to Service Lit, which is repair manuals

I use Parts Pro, which you get to via the accessfreightliner website. We are a fleet but as others have said, you can only look at VIN#'s that you own.

Also be prepared for a lot of the breakdowns to not make any sense, and having a fun time trying to find any parts if you have to go to the Detroit website for engine parts.

Why do a lot of breakdowns not make sense? I have not had any more issues with Freightliners than any other truck. Also the Detroit system is fine. You can search, look at a tree or image view, it's actually quite nice. I like it much better than the Caterpillar system.

I don't know, but daily I am scratching my head at how bad some of their breakdowns are. For example today I was trying to find the part number for a drivers side window switch, I open up the breakdown and found the passenger side right away, but the drivers side switch was nowhere to be found. I eventually had to call the dealer and have them look for it, and even THEY couldn't find the #### number. Luckily I was able to figure it out on my own, but I don't know why an integral part isn't even listed. The picture was there on the breakdown, it had a number assigned to it, but that number was not on the corresponding list to the right of the diagram.

Yeah and I guess you are right about Detroit, they have gotten a lot better. It used to be a lot worse though, I still have horrible memories of trying to find part numbers for things when we first got Parts Pro, and having to use the at the time terrible search function. But the last couple of years it has gotten easier to use. I guess if we are going to talk hard to use, Eaton can be a pain and Meritor usually shows me absolutely nothing when trying to look up some things.
