2003 Columbia hood problems

My hood is cracking and flexing around where the hood hinges bolt on. Looks like the adhesive glue that was used to glue it together is coming loose too also contributing to this. When you raise it and the straps are holding you can tell where it is broke by pushing it from side to side and can see the cracks in the fiberglass and all the flexing. It's causing it hard to get lined up right when I close it. There are saddles built onto the firewall that the hood pins are supposed to sit in and now it's about a inch off. Don't see no damage from ever being hit in front, and if had been hit it would be pushed back too far and it's too far forward. It looks like the pressure of the hood is causing it to push out around the headlights. Is this common? I'm going to remove it and repair all the fiberglass cracks and get some of the super bonding glue from a body shop and re glue what I can.

 

I've checked all the bolts and they are all tight.
