I just hit 4000 miles on the new truck and it has not even had the exhaust temp light come on one time.
It is using DEF and i have only used about 25 gallons in 4000 miles.

The other 5 new trucks we just got have all had to do a parked regen already.
Just wondering if mine is having an issue.
It feels like the power is slowly degrading too....

Not used to this engine yet after driving a Paccar and Cummins powered trucks the last few years.

Getting decent Mileage compared to the rest in your Fleet?
If so, sounds like it's actually running better than the rest.

    I am in a 2012 now..put maybe 10k on it..and not one Parked Regen
Had a 2012 Cascadia with a different Company before and put 40k+ on it. And the only time it needed Parked Regen is when I idled over an extended period of time.
    Both had the DD15s.

I drove a '14 for about a month put a bit over 8k miles on it. Never did a regen, and would go about 3000 miles on half a tank of def. it was a condo, and I'm not a trainer so gave it up to someone that could use it.

I think i idle less than the other drivers so maybe that could be the reason.
I was used to the Cummins where the exhaust temp light would come on about 2 times a day.
As far as fuel mileage I have not really paid attention to it.

I have only idled 2 nights since i got the truck. It sleeps pretty good with the engine off with lows in the mid 40's to mid 50's at night.
    I like it cool anyway.

I should have added that the truck I drove had an epu, so rarely ever idled. The mpg was really good, mid to high 8's. Mix of weights.

Yea,No APU on mine so the colder it gets the more idle time.
I am also hoping it starts pulling better as it gets some miles on the engine.
It does not do too bad,at least it is governed at 76 mph so i can get a run at the hills.
For a company truck it could be worse....lol!

I'm in a '14 also. One regen about15K ago....as opposed to every week in a ISX. This truck seems to be really sensitive to wind...as far as mileage AND DRIVEABILITY. Those ground effects/fairings may get fuel mileage...but not so fun light load in wind.

What kind of fuel mileage do you get?

Not bad....average in the mid 6 mpg range.
We run heavy and a lot of hills and governed at 76.

Pulling power and mileage will get better when you get 50,000 miles on it. You have not even broke it in yet.
