CK. fuse,cir.breaker top right dash.

Yeah, start with the simplest spot, as described above. Although when a fuse or breaker goes out, the component goes out instantaneously... this one showed warning signs beforehand, which leads me to believe it'll be the blower motor itself.
CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
check the connection on the blower motor, could be corroded or loose, but if intermittent its prob not a fuse. Might be the actual motor. How many miles are on the truck? If its old the blower motors do die.

All fuses have been checked, and the relays were swaped with known working ones. truck is 05 and has 390,000 even gave the motor a good thump with a rubber mallet. lol
also is it common for these trucks heater motor NOT to work till it builds air pressure ?Last edited: Jan 12, 2014

No... those are electronic.

To me it sounds like the breaker kicking and resetting after it cools down.
Most likely cause the brushes in the blower motor were on their last leg and it finally quit.
You can unlplug it and make sure you have 12V coming to it with the key and fan switch on before buying one. -
I had this exact same problem in an FLD. I replaced the relays and breakers with known good ones, no go. I replaced the speed switch, no fix. I Then went to the blower motor itself, would not run, gave it a thunk with my fist and it started running just fine. Replaced blower motor and all is well.
