Speaking of clutch adjustments: is this something a diy'er can do themselves? If so, how would one go about it? Useful links to a tutorial would be helpful. Thanks :)

There are two or three different styles of adjusters on the clutches but procedure is as follows. Hold pedal down, a bar works good. Rotate eng by hand till adjuster is at bottom or opening, most common takes a 5/8 socket semi deep works best for me. Push adjuster in and rotate clockwise, a couple of clicks or pulls of the ratchet. Release pedal when stop brake is 1/2 inch from throwout bearing you are there. Then set free travel if ness in linkage.

That is the short easy version

    baha Thanks this.
