this truck is cable driven direct to the pump. I looked for any type of wires and there wasnt any that I could see thanks for trying

I would think start with simple stuff like replacing all the fuel filters.

So . . Did the truck do this before the leaking fuel pump was replaced?

Ever replace fuel line? They sometimes collapse and starve the engine of fuel.
magoo68 and bridgestone mining 707 Thank this. -
I replaced the fuel filter and the mechanical lift pump still have the problem I was going to try the valve under the cab for the two fuel tanks I'ii check the fuel lines while I'm in there
-
yes. The truck did this before I replaced the injector pump I figured if it was leaking fuel that it was sucking air and that was causing the problem
-
Is it VP-44 pump?
