Which one you would rather buy? I have seen the pre-emission Cummins ISX in a few Volvo's 2005 and pre-emission Detroit 14L(NO EGR) in Coronado and Columbia's. Both are very rare, but they exist.

Id go Detroit 12.7L, ive no experience with the 14.
Run from the ISX, we have 2 of them are 2005's 475 w/egr- both ours are drama, fuel pigs and known for "windowing" blocks.Verdel Thanks this. -

I had 2005 dd 14l's. one of them got busted at 400k m. the valve broke down. second one was inframed at 600k m due to excessive oil consumption
Verdel Thanks this. -

I have seen 3, with picture of the engine, no EGR pipe over.....
-
Detroit has nothing to do with ISX. ISX is Cummins engine
-
"Detroit made a non-egr Series 60 14l from 2000-2002."
Yes, I have seen a few Columbia's and one Coronado with these engines..... -
I 've never seen them...if you say it was 2000-2002 than that's not a epa04 14l.. I mean that engine does not have updated grear train, n3 injectors, one piece pistons the big turbo..
