    Hello,

I currently have a 2010 freightliner cascadia and have question

    1. My headlight are to weak, I have halogen headlight not the new led headlights the older one and when I'm driving In areas were its dark and nobodies around (hwy 17/11) it's ok not the best but when you hit highways in the USA or even canada were lighting on the highway/freeway is an issue the you cannot put high bed on ur stuck with ur low rams that show you nothing! I swear if I drive with my lowbes up on i94 I'll probably hit a dear! Can anybody help me out I'm thinking of using the headlight kit and cleaning the headlight? Is that a good idea
    2. I would like to install fog lights for frght Cascadia is it easy?
    3. The windshield is a pain when you run water to clean the windshield it goes right to the side mirror and that gets dirty and fix on that?
    4. last question what's better to install the LED light bar or the two led lights?

hope we you guys can help me out Thanks and I appreciate it

So HID lights are better then led ?
also I was looking into this

do I need anything for this and unsure when switching from halogen to led I need a conversion kit or just do a replace?

that's the same thing as the link I posted but just "blacked out" instead.
The LED thing you're referring to is just the "position bar"... not the actual low beam headlights themselves.
There's tons of info online regarding all this. Just search how to do a transformation, it's not that difficult.

Regarding the windshield washer problem, it's common with Cascadia's for some reason. Near as I can figure, some permanently employed, cross eyed, assembly line worker at Freightliner does the install......

I drive a Columbia; the windshield washer sucked also. Mine did the same thing but it also didn't squirt up high enough so the windshield was always dirty at eye level. I epoxied the 'squirt' holes and then drilled two new holes; it still squirts some on the mirror but the eye level crud is gone.

Ever checked the aim of the headlights; that might help; mine were aimed at the ditch on the right side of road. It explained how to do it in the owners manual; it helped 100%.

lol I true I can agree with the cross eyed worker however is there any fix fr this? Have you tried anything that seem to work out? I hate having to bend my neck every time it snows or its salty on the road. Also I don't have the owners Manuel so could you possibly help me with what to do with the lighting problem thanks

I don't know that there is a fix to the washer issue, but it has been addressed on the newest trucks. The 2013 still gets the mirrors wet, and I deal with it by using Rainex, (water beads off)and avoiding the washer at highway speeds.

I usually hit it when I'm slowing below 35 on a ramp.
