Okay, with no BS, everyone please reply with who they think has the highest average pay for a Company OTR driver. I know some people are going to try to get home more often, and some drivers are going to stay out there and hustle more than others, but I'm just talking averages. I'm not interested in 1st year driver salaries either, but assuming an experienced driver, say about 3 years experience, who just minds his own and tries to do what he's told.
Again, I know there are a huge number of variables involved, but just say what you think the average is for your company. I'll start things off, my last OTR employment was with FirstFleet Inc., living in Vegas, and running out of Phoenix terminal. Averaged about $55K per year. Good company too. Home every couple of days, and weekends off. The grocery business was a nightmare though.
What do you say????? Where's the dough????
Thanks for your replies!

Average W2 last year at the company I work for was $71,905.65 for solo company drivers, and $133,276.96 for company teams.

You probably want to look at autohauling (or delivering new trucks), and/or boats.
Flatbedding (from what i've heard) pays pretty good, but you'll probably sweat---ALOT.
Anything specialized really.
The most money for the least amount of work is probably tankers, but that's very dangerous. You can have all of that. -
Walmart pays good

If you don't mind a lot of waiting....Tyson Private Fleet plus a lot of good bennies including wholesale meat.
Last year W2 $73,223.00 (but I only got home for 2 days every 3 weeks)
You are paid for EVERYTHING. -
Take a look at Crete or Mavrick. They both seem to pay well and I hope to end up with one of them. I've done a lot of research on many companies and these two seem to be good ones. Keep in mind that I am not a driver yet, just going by what I have read and what people are saying.

(BTW, this is verbatim from a Walmart Recruiter/Driver that I ran into along I80 in PA). -
I searched on the web and couldn't find " the company Eskimo6804 works for". -
