do you guys see a benefit or would you treat the wood after redecking an RGN ?
Im thinking tracked equipment will remove it quickly anyway?

Unless its pressure treated, no point really.
The pressure treated stuff gets a lot deeper into the wood vs brush on treatments.

i had one that was stained and done very very well. the treatment lasted 2 years to the best of my knowledge. but you have to keep up on it and treat it every now and then.

I would seal it with some type oil. Even used engine oil.
