Im at a loss. I tested the connections under the truck and got nothing, pulled some fuses still nothing. Any ideas?

Edit: This would be much easier if i had some one here to start/stop the truck etc wail im under it testing stuff.

The brake light switch can be air actuated or it can be mechanical. It can be mounted on a manifold or on the foot valve. Mechanical would be located on the pedal.

It looks like its air driven and its under the hood but at this point im tired and not sure how to test it. May have to wait till morning unless you have some ideas. The brake peddle has a push rod attached to it that goes into an air chamber 5 air lines leave the chamber 1 large 3 med and 1 small. The small one goes of on a T one end goes to a small chamber that has a black and red wire coming out of one end of it and a new small air line coming out of the same end as the one that goes in it. The second air line coming off the T diapers into a bundle of wire that are rapped up.

Try this, disconnect the switch, idle the engine and as soon as the shut down alarm activates touch the two wires using a paper clip or a small piece of wire. If the shut down is reset then that will be the place where you connect the relay. Continue idling and touching the two wires until you know for certain that you can get the idle time you need.

Didn't even have to test the wires as soon as i unplugged them the fan turned on and it still didn't let the truck run longer than 5mins.

There will be no problem idling tonight as the temps are below 20.

Turns out I just got put in a 2011 International ProStar+ w/MaxForce. If you look behind the bumper on the drivers side were the tow hook is installed you will see a temp sencer. This one tells you the temps out side on the dash. Now get down on you back side under the driver side of your catwalk and look for this same temp sencer in the bunch of wires/airlines and just unplug it.You will now beable to idle nonstop but note you will have a check engine light on until you turn the truck off and reinstall the sencer.

The trucking company's that pay crap are the greedy ones. I am now working for a company that pays 0.44 per mile starting and lets me idle the truck as much as I want I also get to take it home. We pull for Estes which is one of the crappiest paying company's around as they do really low bids for shipping freight. Guess what; the company I'm working for is doing great! If a truck brakes down they fix it right away, if you need time off they give it to you, and they do all of this and more and are still making enough money to continue to expand the fleet with trucks and drivers. Also they are not self insured like most big company's so yes they pay more for going through some one else.

So all the company's out there that pay crap and have loads of trucks are self insured and all that are just out to stick the biggest what ever you can think of up yours and keep the money for them self's. Pricks!n I'm glad I was able to more on to a company that gives a dame about all of there drivers.

Note: I am allowed to make any modifications I want to my truck so long as when I'm done with it there is no damage and everything can be restored without the shops help. (e.g. Anything I take out I have to be able to put back in properly.)

For all the truckers out there stuck in the shadows and slums of the big trucking company I wish you luck in finding the company right for you. Also if your a trucker that does nothing but piss and moan about how crappy the job is, or how you don't want to do that, or you want to take a month off, and refuse jobs. Sorry but I dont ever see you being able to settle down with a good company unless you can control you self and do the jobs given to you.

My boss calls and says I need you to do this, I say okay when and where. Unless I already have scheduled/planned time of with the company I do it.

Good luck everyone and drive safe.

Edit: We also run at 75mph.
