    Hi there truckers!
For the last couple of days I keep getting this code - 128:F00 PID156_P. Now, I know "P" means inactive but along with it the "Warn Engine" light comes on and stays on for about 2 secs then goes off. I noticed that it does lit when going up a hill but not every time. It does not affect how the engine works but... . If I turn the truck off and start it again "NO Faults", and then again, after I hit the first climbing - 128:F00 PID156_P + "Warn Engine".
    Any help? :)

    P.S.> `07 International 9400i Cummins ISX

Ok, I have several threads about the LCD display in 9000 series. What you are seeing is simply a fault message, not a code. The LCD display was never meant to be a code reader. We do not use it for diagnostic purposes and neither should you. Always go by your "Warn Engine" light, and the proper diagnostic service tool. Again, what you see is not a fault code! The 128 means that the engine is the module that is reporting the fault, f00 is the order number of the fault and pid is a parameter identifier that does not translate in to a code in any way. The "p" does me inactive.

Why do you need that? I already told you. The 156 is not a code and does not translate into one. Get it scanned with Insite or some other proper code reader.
