I have an 2010 prostar here is the basic info
Vin:2HSCUAPR8AC063179 Model: PROSTAR PREMIUM 6X4
Engine: ### ISX-435 ST, 435HP @1800RPMMake: International
Delivered: 3/27/2009
In Service: 5 Years 8 Months
Mileage: 485666
I've brought this truck in August and so far I've been having these issues:
1. EGR cooler leaking coolant. EGR and DPF replaced regen and baking done.
2. Less than a month later, check engine light comes on. Codes say the DOC is clogged. DOC/DPF is cleaned regen done.
3. A month later codes back on again. Codes say DOC is clogged but DPF shoot levels are low. Truck is running normal. I'm told I need a new DOC. Plus intake manifold sensor says intake manifold pressure is low. But it could be sensor problem.
I noticed no performance issues in the truck. I'm thinking it's something else. What is could it be?
DPF/DOC issues

Have you looked through rawze's posts on here? He has a series of YouTube videos that have helped many. It is probably all sooted up inside your intake and egr and where the 7th injector is. I would start there ...

Yep, I think your DOC is worn out.
QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this. -
The DOC's are made of many different, expensive metals. They do wear away after time and lose their effectiveness. If you look at them after they are cleaned,it looks like they just came off the shelf.Too bad they may no longer be effective.Sucks that they cost so #### much!Good luck.
