There are no other bigger trucks. whole fleet is going to the new 60" prostars. already worked on a dcs account. miles and pay are good out here so far. got 2741 for the week this week. just 90 days in a small sleeper isn't really working.

I think they are going to the smaller sleepers because there are many places we go that are very tight unless you are in a daycab. They can probably save alot of money in insurance costs if they limit the number of lot incedents. How many times have you been to a store and the large yellow pole near the dock is bent halfway to the pavement? I know that there are a few places I go to that I am happy to be in a daycab.

No I believe the real reason is they are lighter and can haul more freight then the full size trucks. My midroof Cascadia only has 2 80 gallon tanks and it only holds like 130 gallons of fuel. Truck scales out at just over 18,000lbs. They are sort of like the lightweight trucks that prime is using.

the cascadias are way heavier than all the others, that would make sense on the smaller sleeper

true but to have otr guys out for 90 days in these smaller sleepers is a bit much.
