I was offered a position with JB Hunt Final Mile Services out of St Louis. I know what the interviewer has told me and the recruiter as well. I'm looking for some information from some current drivers doing this Any information about pay, hours and what not would really be appreciated. Just trying to get the while picture before I accept the position.

Sounds like a funeral service for a deceased JB HUNT driver
Lumper Humper and MayhemTrucking Thank this. -
Whoever thought of that name isn't the brightest bulb in the clock.

Thought from the subject line that you were "hanging it up".
Company needs to create a better name for that program.Projektf350, Lone Ranger 13 and Bandaid Thank this. -
Maybe its literal. When they get done with you you'll never want to drive another mile.
Lumper Humper, jeff18, Robin Williams and 2 others Thank this. -
its a local straight truck division , most of the drivers don't even need a cdl here in nj they start at 15 dollars an hour.

They told me class A local position. Home every night. There would be a very rare occasion where I would stay out overnight. Start times would be anywhere between 5am-8am. They said pay averaged 850 a week which includes pay by mile, stop, and depends on what kind of install. They said I would have a helper most days but it depended on the amount and type of installs that were scheduled for that day. I'm more curious if the pay is going to be what they say it is and how close to they schedule the routes.
Robin Williams Thanks this. -
You either have balls the size of watermelons, or you're a gluten for punishment.jeff18 and MayhemTrucking Thank this. -

I'm not real clear on what they mean by 'install'?
