I was contacted via email by a recruiter from JB about an opening for a regional/local flatbed position in my home state of North Carolina. I would prefer feedback from drivers who have worked or currently work this or similar accounts, who live in NC. Pay, Orientation, truth about home time, etc. I have been OTR so far, and I'm sick of leaving home. Running 3000 miles a week is for the birds! I'd much rather be home. Any info from those who know what they are talking about and dont have anything negative to say, is appreciated.

We run a dedicated account for JB Hunt out of Atlanta. Our experience with them has been great! Our recruiter is honest, dispatcher works with us. We are very pleased with the company. Good luck to you!!

I've been in contact with a recruiter from JB Hunt and am considering the move from OTR to western regional. I was hoping to find out more about the kind of company they are before making my decision. Good luck to ya.

The responses all sound like "place-holders/recruiters. I'm with Crete presently, good milage, far from perfect (none of these companies are) Ran a dedicated acct out of Flanders NJ, into NYC, Brooklyn (where i was born & raised) Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island! Single most dysingenouos experience in my driving career! Complete &,utter incompetency, blatant lying, using horrendous equipment (DOT officers wet-dream) bottomline, work in McDonalds before working at JB Hunt!

Bottomline, do NOT work for JB Hunt, you will regret it like i did dude! There are a few good companies out there, Crete Carrier is one of them! Mind you,i have my issues with them but by & large, look into Crete and avoid JB Hunt like the plague!
