Hey everybody, new to the site. Recently picked up a 77 extended hood day cab with a big cam and 13 speed. My intentions are to build another transfer. It really doesn't need a whole lot other than a major cleaning and some tlc. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as far as getting the front end to sit a little lower as well as centering it in the fenderwell. I don't want it too low as its going to see some dirt job sites. I also wanted to run a 2 leaf progressive spring pack up front and was curious if there was a spring that swapped over. Any help is appreciated!

Why are you worried about the location of the axle in the fender well?

lowering can be done simply by removing spacer blocks as you desire.

To run the newer spring you would need to move back the rear hangar as the newer springs are longer, doing this would mean having to rework the steering system as the steering box and hangar are one piece on the drivers side.

I'm not worried about the location, that's just something that's always bugged me about A models. I'd rather it be center than forward.
